Heirloom and Unusual Annuals

LAVATERA
Named after the 16th century Swiss botanist, Dr. Lavater, this native of the Mediterranian region is also known as Mallow. The flowers are large and resemble those of the hibiscus. Growing to a height of between 60 cm-120 cm, they are a sturdy and compact plant. Plant them in masses and they will reward you with a profusion of blossoms. You will wonder why you’ve never grown them before! Easy to grow, sow seed outside after the last frost. Sp. 30 cm

TANAGRA
Lavatera trimestris (3 months of bloom)
The hard to find variety Tanagra bears multitudes of silky cup shaped flowers in carmine pink. Ht. 100cm-120 cm
$3.00
