LAVATERA
Named after the 16th century Swiss
botanist, Dr. Lavater, this native
of the Mediterranian region
is also known as Mallow.
The flowers are large and
resemble those of the
hibiscus. Growing to a
height of between 60 cm-120 cm, they
are a sturdy and compact
plant. Plant them in
masses and they will
reward you with a
profusion of blossoms.
You will wonder
why you’ve never
grown them before! Easy
to grow, sow seed outside after
