PHEASANT’S EYE Adonis
aestivalis
This plant originated from Europe. An easy to grow annual, it hqas
finely divided, thread-like leaflets and produces a multitude of cupshaped,
dark-centred 1” flowers (much like anemones). It blooms in early summer
and, if deadheaded, will continue blooming sporadically until frost.
Direct seed in early spring. Does well in slightly alkaline well-drained
soil. Ht. 40 cm, Sp. 30 cm. $3.00
