ECHINACEA/ PURPLE CONEFLOWER Echinacea purpurea - Used historically by the Plains Indians for snake bites and as a blood purifier. Receiving wide acclaim in modern times as an immune system strengthener. Tincture can be easily made from the 3 year old roots. Magnificent 10cm rose-purple flowers with bristly orange-coned centres. Make great cut flower. Leave seed heads for the birds.
