Rosmarinus officinalis - It\'s strong pungent flavour goes great with meat dishes, especially lamb. A sprig placed on a roasting leg lends the meat an incomparable flavour. Fresh sprigs will keep for several days in a plastic bag or set stems in water in the refrigerator. Keep dried leaves in an airtight container in a cool place away from light. Just before using, crush the dried leaves to release the flavour. Type: Perennial Zone: 6 Light: sun Soil: well drained Height: 30-50cm Propagation: Direct seed after last frost 1cm deep. OR Start indoors in late winter. Germinate @20C. Approx. 50 seeds
