EGG PLANT - BLACK BEAUTY Introduced in 1902, this is the most popular egg plant. The 60 cm plant produce .5 to 1.5 kg, 15 to 20cm large long oval fruits with black skin and great flavour. Start indoors 8weeks before last frost date and set out when soil is warm. Germinate @ 20C. Cover seeds lightly. Set plants 60cm apart. 85 days to maturity. SEED COUNT: Approx. 30 |
