PARSNIPS - HOLLOW CROWN This old variety has lovely white roots that are slim and smooth. The flesh is sweet, tender and fine grained. Plant seed as soon as the ground can be worked. Plant seeds 1cm deep. Germination may take three weeks.When seedlings are large enough, thin to 10cm. Frost hardy. Matures in 120 days.
