SAVORY - WINTER A perennial cousin to Summer Savory, with thicker and shinier leaves as well as a more pungent flavour. Harvest the leaves just before the plant flowers. Store fresh leaves in a sealed plastic bag in the refrigerator. Dried leaves retain their flavour for a considerable long time if stored in a sealed container away from light.
