THYME - WINTER thus vulgarisms -- The most popular herb in the kitchen. A staple herb in any herb garden. This bushy, cushion forming variety has small, dark green leaves. They are very aromatic and can be used fresh or dry them for the rich flavour in the winter. It blends well with other herbs and aids in digestion. Store fresh leaves in the fridge in a plastic bag. Store dried leaves in a sealed container in a cool dry place. Type: Perennial Zone: 5 Light: sun soil: well drained Height: 2-30cm Propagation: Direct seed 2-3 weeks before last frost or late autumn.
