SQUASH - SPAGHETTI Pale yellow fruits with pulp like spaghetti. Sweet and tender. Enjoy it slightly seasoned or topped with pasta sauce. Light: Full Sun Soil: Rich, well drained Spacing: 60cm Height: Vine Maturity:70 days Propagation: Direct seed in late Spring when soil is warm (21C) (seeds will rot in cold soil) OR Start indoors 2-3 weeks before planting out. Plant out after frost danger and weather is warm. Harvest: Before heavy frostwhen fruit is 20-25cm long. Cut fruit from stem and leave in the field for 4-5 days to cure. OR Alternately bring indoors and cure @ 27-32C for 3-5 days with ventilation. Store @ 10-15C. SEED COUNT: Approx. 20 |
