CALENDULA - ORANGE KING

CALENDULA Orange King calendula officinalis Dating back to the mid-1800s "the king" is said to be the oldest strain of double calendula. Calendulas are one of the easiest, hardiest players in the garden. Frost and drought tolerant, quick to bloom, cheerful and undemanding. These orange, vigorous growing heirlooms have survived despite modern breeding. Bright orange flowers will last and last. A great self seeder. Type: Annual Light: full sun to half shade Soil: not fussy Spacing: 20cm Height: 60cm Season: summer to late fall. Propagation: Direct seed in early spring when a light frost is still possible. Cover seeds lighty. OR Start indoors 6 weeks before last frost. Germinate @ 20C Hint: Will survive repeated light frosts. SEED COUNT: Approx. 200
