LAVATERA - LOVELINESS lavatera trimestris The flowers are large and resemble those of the hibiscus. They are a sturdy and compact plant. Funnels of deep rose pink. Plant them in masses and they will reward you with a profusion of blossoms. Named after the 16th century Swiss botanist, Dr. Lavater, this native of the Mediterranian region is also known as Mallow. You will wonder why you have never grown them before!!
