LETTUCE - GREAT LAKES LETTUCE Great Lakes This cresphead lettuce has a mild flavour. The large mid green heads are great for summer salads. It can be grown in containers. Direct seed in early Spring OR start indoors 4 weeks before last frost and every 2 weeks after to ensure a steady supply. Cover seeds lightly. Germinate @ 20C. Space seedlings 15 – 20 cm apart.
